I also don't really remember any of it being about you lying. I remember you taking debates off-forum, which I discouraged in order to promote site activity. It was in order to (hopefully) keep live topics live; it wasn't an attempt to personally be an asshole. I don't know if you can entirely understand where I'm coming from on that, but if I came off like a dick about it, I apologize. Anyways, that's not to say I think you never did come to me because I thought you were lying. I just don't remember it lol. I'd imagine there was a little more to it then me simply calling you a liar, leaving it at that, and then telling you to talk about it on the forum, but if there wasn't, then, again, I apologize. It's definitely possible. I do make mistakes. If I do something similar, then try to be persistent. It'll get through eventually.

But yeah, the point was that if you actually needed help, you can ask. So....yeah.

Well, to be fair, saying "problem" in that context kind of implies a problem with the forum; and if it has something to do directly with a public discussion, it seems shady to me. Realize that's just my opinion, but I still stand by it. I'll continue to do so excepting situations where the issue is obviously not a public manner. If it causes you to lose respect for me, then that's unfortunate, but so be it. I'll be honest, if I'm not given reasoning for that kind of thing, then it's kind of hard for me to respect that person enough to care that they lost respect for me. Some people act irrational or just plain silly when it comes to those sorts of things. I can't respect it if there's no reason for me to apply my respect to. I'm not saying that's relevant for you because I don't know the entirety of your motivations, but, from where I was and am standing, I saw no issue with it, and you never stated a issue with it, so I can do much about that without violating my own principles.

In my defense, you never IM'd me with problems. You IM'd me with arguments for debates that were going on in threads. Thus, "If you want to say something, say it on the forum." Still stand by that, but I'm pretty good about helping people when they come to me with a problem (if it's something I can actually do). So if you actually need help, you can definitely ask.

Hey man, when you report stuff, think about it and make sure there's a legitimate reason behind reporting it. "Cpt Obvious" is hardly a solid reason for deletion
