Runescape
Final Fantasy 13 has awoken my crave for RPG games, so I thought it would be a super cool idea to go back and play all the great RPG games. Some of these games I have already owned and beat, and some of them are games I kept hearing amazing things about them when I was younger, but never got around to playing them. After spending $70 on ebay a few days ago, I have expanded my Playstation collection to:
The starred games are the ones out of my collection that I plan on playing over the next couple of months. Not going to lie, I'm pretty damn excited to dive into these games because even the ones I've played I haven't touched since I was little (aside from X and XIII), and the ones I haven't I always wanted to play but never got around to it.Final Fantasy I (Haven't played before)
Final Fantasy II (Haven't played before)
*Final Fantasy IV
Final Fantasy V (Haven't played before)
*Final Fantasy VI (Haven't played before)
*Final Fantasy VII
*Final Fantasy VIII
*Final Fantasy IX (Haven't played before)
*Final Fantasy X
*Final Fantasy XII (Haven't played before)
*Final Fantasy XIII (currently 40 hours in)
*Chrono Trigger (Haven't played before)
*Chrono Cross (Haven't played before)
The challenge:
Pick a couple of classic RPG games (doesn't have to be from my personal collection, although I would definitely recommend my starred ones) and try to play through one per month. You can get them for cheap on Ebay and Amazon (brand new factory sealed and used) or simply play them on your computer.
If you choose to participate, feel free to post which games you plan on playing through, and if any of them are new to you. Also, feel free to recommend RPG games you have loved for other people to consider.

You got all that for $70?
Proof?
Or was it all out of box games? Because in the box Final Fantasy 7 goes for $50 alone any day of the week.
I'll let you know soon when I start my custom video game business. I'm going to have a company to where you can order any video game you want for afew $ cheaper than many others places![]()
I didn't buy all of them; about half of them I already had. The ones I hadn't played are the ones I bought recently, and they are about 15 bucks + 4 bucks shipping a piece brand new (for the older games, they usually include two games in 1 disk).
I got:
FF Origins (1 and 2)
FF Anthology (5 and 6)
FF Chronicles (4 and Chrono Trigger)
Chrono Cross
FF IX
All for Playstation, which ran me about $70. I already owned 12, but I had never gotten around to playing it.

I can't play those 2bit final fantasys for some reason, but I have been wanting to do this for 7 and up for such a long time, but I never end up doing it. I really want to get through VIII, IX, and Chrono Cross but I just haven't. I also picked up Final Fantasy X-2 recently, and it's sort of ehhhhhhh. I wanted to pick up XII also, since I now feel like I can get past not having turn based final fantasy after playing XIII.
You'll like IX also, and Chrono Cross is a good game too.
I'm glad there's another Final Fantasy nerd here.![]()

My cousin has been trying to find Chrono Trigger for that last 3 years and can't find it anywhere.
